Japanese medical devices manufacturer Create Medic has announced plans to expand its presence in India as part of a broader strategy to deepen direct market engagement and drive long-term growth.
The company, which specialises in silicone catheters for healthcare applications, plans to establish dedicated sales offices across major Indian cities. It will begin with a new office in Chennai, followed by planned expansions into Delhi, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.
This marks a shift from its earlier India operating model, which relied primarily on distribution partners. By building its own sales network, Create Medic aims to strengthen customer relationships and improve market penetration.
Company President Osamu Imazawa stated that the firm is targeting long-term revenues of around ₹100 crore from its India operations, without specifying a timeline for achieving this milestone.
